DEWDOCKS parts are purchased as a complete “Float Unit” ($215.00). This includes:
- 1 Float
- 4 header blocks + 4 stainless steel bolts, flats & lock washers
- 2 parts (bow-ties, 1/2 ties) – your choice, to fill all connection ports.
- NOTE: “bumpers” are no longer a part of this kit, since we have a far superior product with our exclusive Hull Rocker™ ultimate boat hull protection system!

When designing a dock; bow-ties are used to connect the floats, half-ties and bumpers are used to finish the edges, (All are held in place by a header block and bolt). Lumber is screwed into the header blocks so there is no risk of damage to the float units. For connecting your dock to shore or another dock: consult the accessories section of this manual for our full line of ramping and anchoring kits. Pins, rings, hinges, cleats and other accessories can be screwed into any header block or your deck lumber. If a flat look on the outside surface of your dock is desired, simply use half ties in place of bumpers.
We have two corner units (great for slip ends); a 2 ft (61 cm) and a 3 ft (91 cm) corner floats. These are also sold as a unit and include bowties, half ties, header block and header block bolt as required for your design. The prices are $230.00 and $240.00 respectively.
To draw up a custom dock layout: Just remember, the standard floats are 2 ft (61 cm). x 3 ft (91 cm), with part ports on the 3 ft (91 cm) sides, having a 1 ft (30.48 cm) offset and centred on the 2 ft (61 cm) sides. Bumpers project out from dock 2.5 in (6.35 cm) and are 2 ft (ca. 61 cm) long.
